Population Control

An argument with a person advocating antinatalism inspired yet another dystopian execution scene, this one involving electric chairs and four pregnant prisoners. "Inspired by" means inspired by. I am not suggesting that antinatalists as a group advocate for murdering women who are pregnant. As always, this is fantasy.

Face-Off

Desperate to find her younger sister, Jenna agreed to meet the anonymous informant alone and without reporting to police. After waiting at the designated location for nearly an hour, she was on the verge of returning to her car and writing that strange e-mail off as a tasteless prank. But then she heard footsteps. Someone grabbed her from the shadows, and she struggled with all her strength until the pungent vapors of chloroform took away her consciousness.

Now waking deep within some filthy, long-abandoned facility, part of her is relieved to find Tori alive, but Jenna quickly understands that this stubborn attempt at heroism has only made the situation worse.
