Appeasing the Queen
Every spring solstice, a maiden is selected from the outlying villages and brought to the city, where she will be presented as a sacrifice to Jendu, queen of the insectoid barbarians, in exchange for peace. Usually, the captured maidens accept fate and cooperate, but some short-sighted, selfish individuals fight every step of the way. Regardless, all are stripped and bound to the cross outside the lair at noon, to await the queen's desire.

Slinging Shit
The local muscle decides to once again squeeze poor Zoe. Best viewed by right-clicking an opening in a new tab or window (at full size). For the actual full size, you'll have to view this comic on deviantART, because Blogger apparently doesn't like the length.
